Online video game and tournament provider CYOP Systems recently announced plans to take advantage of poker's booming popularity by launching new multi-player online poker games. The games, currently undergoing testing, will feature play-for- cash options for regions which permit poker wagering, such as the UK. Players in the North America, on the other hand, will only have access to a play-for-free version of the game due to gaming legislation in the region.
CYOP hopes to expand its European player base with its new offering. With the over 80 million people playing poker every day, the company hopes to tempt a significant portion of that interest group over to its side. In addition to its poker games, CYOP is also developing new bridge games.
