Slickstreet Marketing, which is pursuing an advertising agency to promote the online poker site royalvegaspoker.com, has narrowed its search to three competing companies. The three companies still in the running for Slickstreet's $20 million account include Eisner Communications Inc., The Concept Farm and Avrett Free Ginsberg, the latter of which is a division of The Interpublic Group of Companies Inc.
This campaign marks the first time the Gibraltar and South Africa-based Slickstreet is hiring an agency, and it is doing so in an effort to endorse the online poker site royalvegaspoker.com in North America. Slickstreet is reportedly in search of an agency with experience in marketing retail brands over the internet. Eisner answers that call, boasting experience in online marketing, for brands such as USAirways.com.
The prospect of winning the Slickstreet account is of great interest to Eisner, as the account would constitute one of the agency's largest, boasting a dollar value equaling approximately 6 percent of the agency's total annual capitalized billings.
