Online casino and poker site Bodog.com is sponsoring a charity poker event to benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation, which will bring together celebrities from a number of arenas. The Celebrity Poker Shootout at the 2nd Annual Treasure Island-Las Vegas Casino Night is scheduled for this Thursday, April 14th at the Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hanger.
Celebrities from the worlds of poker, Hollywood and basketball are expected to make appearances at Bodog's Poker Shootout. On the guest list are Debra Messing, Shannon Elizabeth, Mimi Rogers, Breckin Meyer, Chris, Danny and Jordan Masterson, among others. In total, 1200 celebrities, socialites and Lakers fans are expected to attend the poker extravaganza. All of the event's proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation. Novice poker fans need not be discouraged; the Celebrity Poker Shootout appeals to poker fans of all levels of expertise, with poker tutorials being led by the "Bodog Girls."
