Online gaming software company PokerBook Gaming Corporation announced that its charity online poker site, PokerBook.com, has opened for business. The site will host online poker tournaments for charity, as well as serving as a base for licensing PokerBook's soon to be released online poker software.
PokerBook Gaming Corporation is a subsidiary of Senticore, Inc. and together the two companies will sponsor the PokerBook Charity Tour, a series on online poker tournaments benefiting non-profit organizations. The first online charity poker tournament will benefit "Feed the Children," with proceeds going toward helping children left homeless and/or displaced by December's Tsunami disaster.
Along with releasing its new site, PokerBook plans to have its new online poker software, PB25, ready for distribution in the coming days. Regarding PokerBook's debuting website and software, CEO Jay Patel commented, "This marks the first step of our 'coming out party' as we launch PokerBook. We are also very excited about the development of PB25, PokerBook's proprietary poker software." PB25 is download-free and promises to eliminate virus and firewall risks.
