Online qualifier Adam Dujmovic took the championship at last week's British Poker Open (BPO), and with it, a not-too-shabby £100,000. The tournament's £216,000 prize pool was enough to draw some of pro poker's biggest names, including David "Devilfish" Ulliot, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and World Poker Champion Greg "Fossilman" Raymer.
Adam Dujmovic beat out five worthy finalists, including Sweden's Hakon Waerstad home-grown Matt Born, Andreas Harnemo of Norway and American contenders, Robert Hill and Greg Raymer.
The Poker Channel, which features poker, poker and more poker, aired the tournament in a live broadcast. The BPO constitutes the first major poker tournament aired on the Poker Channel. The Poker Channel has vowed to continue to broadcast major tournaments, with plans already in place to air PokerStars World Cup of Poker, which kicks off on May 30th.
