GSN, the network for games, recently announced that it is about to start production on two new additions to its "Poker Royale" series, which airs on Friday night, known at the network as Casino Night. On July 25th, GSN will launch production for "The James Woods Gang vs. The Unabombers." In this installment, a group of poker pros and celebrity poker players are divided into two teams, one headed by actor/pro poker player James Woods and the other by 2004 World Poker Tour Champion Phil "The Unabomber" Laak. Players already signed up to compete include Jennifer Tilly, who recently got press for becoming the first actor/actress to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, WSOP bracelet winner as well as two-time Poker Royale champion Kathy Liebert, and Everybody Loves Raymond's Brad Garret.
The second Poker Royale installment about to start production is "Battle of the Ages" which pits poker legends over sixty against the promising poker legends of tomorrow (all under 30). Poker old-timers include TJ Cloutier, Dan Harrington, Gabe Kaplan, Barbara Enright, Maureen Feduniak and Wendeen Eolis. Their more youthful competitors include Michael Gracz, Dutch Boyd, Erin Ness, Evelyn Ng and Kasey Thompson. Production for Poker Royale: Battle of the Ages will start on July 27th.
