The second annual Vegas Rock Star Poker Tournament has added another rock star to its featured celebrity guest list. Chad Kroeger, frontman for multi-platinum selling band Nickelback, has just been signed on. Already partnering with the poker event are Gene Simmons from legendary band Kiss, Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction and formerly of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell. The Vegas Rock Star Poker Tournament kicks off August 25th and runs through the 27th.
The Vegas Rock Star Poker Tournament schedule will include preliminary poker instruction from Phil Gordon, poker with the rock stars, and for some lucky guests, a chance to hobnob with the musicians at the exclusive after-party.
The night before the Vegas Rock Star Poker Tournament starts, Nickelback will be performing at The Palms Casino Hotel Las Vegas, the venue that will also be host the poker event. Commenting on the band's upcoming appearance at the Palms, Kroeger exclaimed, "We're excited to be performing in Vegas and be able to reward lucky fans to play at this rockin' Poker event!"
