Partypoker.com is closing in on 3 billion hands dealt. All Party Poker players stand to benefit from this, as the site will be offering them rewards such as freerolls, special jackpots, and even the chance to become a millionaire.
In order to win one of the special Party Poker jackpots, all a player must do is be lucky enough to be playing in a special jackpot hand. Jackpots will be awarded to players in every five millionth hand starting from 2,955,000,000 until the hand count hits 3 billion. Also, if a royal flush is dealt during one of these 10 lucky hands, the person holding it will instantly become a millionaire, with a special $1 million prize being awarded, so long as the player uses at least one of his/her hole cards.
Each jackpot will be split among the hand's winner and the remaining players at the table. The amount of each jackpot depends both on the hand number as well as on the particular table's betting limits. Jackpot winners will receive their money in their Party Poker accounts within 48 hours of a win.
The party continues even after the 3 billionth hand is dealt. Within hours of the milestone many special $20,000 freeroll tournaments are scheduled to be played. Anyone with a real money account at Partypoker.com will be allowed to register for these freerolls, but seats will be awarded on a "first come, first served basis" until a maximum number of participants have entered.
