Carving a niche for itself in the online retail market, discount site SmokersMarket.com has begun offering poker chip lighters for sale. The new product comes in six different colors corresponding to the different values displayed in the center of the lighter/chip on each side.
In terms of appearance, it is made entirely of metal and the chip is decorated with "dice design" on the outer surface. The lighter is activated by shifting the top half of the chip to the side. The product is refillable and contains a mechanism to adjust the strength of the flame.
One chip retails for £2.99, but discounts are given on bulk purchases. In particular, customers pay £39.99 for a set of 18 lighters (three of each color chip) that comes in a presentation case. Though the company is based in the UK, they offer to ship the products anywhere in the world for an additional fee.
The poker chip design is bound to be a hit among poker players who light up at the thought of smoking a few at the poker table.
