Poker pro Annie Duke, the winner of the 2004 Tournament of Champions, will be starring in her own television show. The poker show, dubbed "Annie Duke Takes on the World," will be broadcast on GSN, the Network for Games, beginning on May 1st. Duke's show will feature four amateur poker players competing against one another while she provides viewers with expert commentary and insight into their gameplay.
With GSN programming reaching 58 million American households, Annie Duke's face is sure to become even more familiar to poker lovers across the nation. Co-hosting the poker action along with Duke will be actor Regan Burns, of CSI fame. No word is out yet on what the stakes will be for the televised No-Limit Texas Hold 'em games.
