With a gaming portfolio that already includes blackjack, Caribbean Stud poker, and roulette, among other casino game offerings, Aces.com has added a new option for its players in three-card poker. The poker game is more luck-based than the wildly popular Texas Hold 'em.
Aces.com's version of three-card poker has two components: "PairPlus" and "Ante and Play." In the PairPlus component, upon placing a bet, a player receives three cards. If the player gets a pair or better, he/she wins according to a pay chart. In the Ante and Play component, upon placing a bet, a player will receive three cards and has to decide whether to raise the bet or fold the cards, based on whether he/she thinks the poker hand can beat the dealer's hand. The player is then paid out even money odds if the dealer's hand is weaker.
In an added twist to the online poker game, a player can wager in and play both game components simultaneously. If, however, he/she folds in the Ante and Play game, the bet for the PairPlus portion of the game is forfeited automatically.
