In its bid to trump other online poker sites, Bet365 Poker is holding a tournament competition, the winner of which will receive free seats at 44 out of the 45 events at the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) to be held this summer. Including a seat at even the $10,000 buy-in main event, the only event not to be covered in the promotion is the $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament. The online poker site is staging qualifier tournaments, where $12 buys someone the chance to win his or her way into the grand final tournament of the competition, to be held on May 20th.
The lucky winner to emerge victorious in the Bet365 Poker competition will receive a prize package valued at approximately $165,000. The prize's value includes the 44 buy-in fees, the cost of travel to and from the WSOP in Las Vegas, and a whopping 60 nights hotel accommodation.
