Brian Jensen, a baseball coach for little leaguers in New Hampshire, was cleared of charges that he allegedly forced a kid on his team to play strip poker and perform other voyeuristic acts for him. A jury found Jensen innocent of child endangerment after not enough evidence was presented in court to the contrary. Their acquittal comes in the wake of another jury having convicted Jensen of the same charges last summer.
The particulars of the case involve Jensen, his two sons, and a ballplayer on the team Jensen coached, the case's defendant. According to the plaintiff, who was 12 at the time of the alleged acts, Jensen forced him to remove his clothing after losing multiple hands of poker. After the strip poker game ended, the plaintiff alleged that Jensen made him ride naked on an ATV (all-terrain vehicle). The plaintiff blames Jensen's sons for inflicting further social damage on him, via their spreading of the news at their school.
