(Press Release) Hansen Gray & Company, Inc. (OTC: HGCP) subsidiary NAPP Tour, Inc., creator of the International Poker Association and the North American Poker Tour, has partnered with Tenner and Associates to sponsor the VH1 Classic Rock-n-Roll Celebrity Poker Tournament, the first televised poker contest to feature music artists.
The Tournament, presented by CelebrityPokerPlayer.net and hosted by Phil Laak, will bring together six well-known musical performers, including Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, Jane Wiedlin of the Go Go's, Vinnie Paul of Pantera, and Sully Erna of Godsmack all for the benefit of charity. The winner will determine to which charity the prize pool proceeds will be donated. In addition, the winner will take over VH1 Classic for an entire day, programming all of that day's music videos and serving as on-air host. The winner will also receive an entry into the $10,000 North American Poker Tour Invitational at Hollywood Park in September 2006.
The VH1 Classic Rock-n-Roll Celebrity Poker Tournament, also sponsored by CelebrityPokerPlayer.net, will be filmed at Harrah's Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and will premiere in June, 2006 on VH1 Classic.
