Ever since Paris Hilton was quoted as saying that she was crazy about poker, every day there's been another poker-related drama in the party girl's court. Yes, we know you're sick of hearing about it. Believe me, we're sick of it too. But what is a poker publication to do? She's THE Celebutante. And, admit it, the troubles of the rich and incomprehensibly famous are amusing. So, in Chapter III of Paris Hilton's poker debacle, online poker site Party Poker makes the 25-year-old hotel heiress an offer she couldn't--or shouldn't--refuse.
Last week, we reported that Paris had lost her $178,000 Bentley in an ill-fated poker game. Rather than see Ms. Hilton risk having to rough it on public transport, Party Poker challenged her to a poker duel, which if she wins, will earn her back her treasured ride. Before the Bentley incident, Paris was quoted as saying that she had been pretty lucky in poker. Well, she'll need a little more than luck in this poker match, as Party Poker is putting her up against poker celebrity Mike Sexton. Party Poker has given Paris 30 days to take them up on the challenge. Party Poker said that they would even arrange for a land-based game if Paris was wary of playing poker online.
