On the 19th Nov, 2008 $250 was paid voluntarily by Edmond Coku to play StreetWise charity poker.
StreetWise's annual fundraiser was created at the Westside Loft in Manhattan, when U.S stocks sand and benchmarks slid to their lowest levels since 2003.
The organization was founded in 1997 and uses the Wall Street Firm and corporation volunteers to mentor low-income individuals and help them find work, as well as bolster their confidence and skills in the workplace.
Although Edmond Coku spends most of his days working on the bankruptcy of his employer Lehman Brother Holding Inc he is more than happy to participate for a good cause. He states……

Corporate and Financial-service-industry executive attendees were almost double in number from last year's event- this event luring 300.
As a non profit organization StreetWise has a $5 million budget. The charity pokers aim was to raise an additional $1 million to use to expand into Connecticut next year. Currently it has offices in New York, Washington and Jersey City.
$75,000 was raised by the tournament in donations.
