Nico Behling the 23 year old Everest Poker qualifier from Germany came 2nd in the PokerStars EPT in Warsaw.
This is the second year in a row he has dominated the European Poker Tour by winning 2nd place in Warsaw.
He beat over 217 poker players who attended the tournament the last week taking more than $400,000 back to Germany.
Behling also qualified for the EPT Barcelona two years ago again via Everest Poker.
Behling commented on his win………
"If someone would have told me before the tournament that I would finish 2nd, I would have signed up for that immediately -- now, of course, I am a little disappointed that the trophy was so close.''
Advising other Everest Poker players, he said "You have to work on your game, study the theoretical part of poker in the beginning and always believe in yourself…and don't let short term luck or bad beats disturb you.''
Everest Poker players on the whole are tearing up the EPT circuit. Sponsored player Christiano Blanco came 2nd at the EPT event in Dortmund 2007 which to date remains the best placing ever for an Italian player at EPT event.
At EPT Warsaw, Italian Dario Minieri was blocked from matching Blanco's top finish by Behling and finished 3rd.
