Currently the biggest shareholder of PartyPoker's parent PartyGaming is Anurag Dikshit who owns a 27 percent stake in the company.
He has pleaded guilty to federal crime in U.S court for his part in U.S activities which took place prior to the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA)
In order to settle with U.S authorities he is agreeing to forfeit $300 million (GBP 196m, 213 Euros) He yesterday entered the plea when he voluntarily appeared in a federal court in Manhattan New York.
He pleaded guilty in violating the federal wire Act and to operating an ''Internet gambling business which offered casino and poker games, among other games of chance, to customers'' in the US from around 1997 to October 2006, and to using communications ''wires to transmit bets and wagering information in interstate commerce.''
By signing an agreement with the DOJ (Department of Justice) to assist investigators, prosecutors indicated that they are likely to appeal on Dikshit's behalf to the judge asking for leniency to avail jail time.
The judge informed that a potential prison term of up to two years is carried by the charge as well as up to one year of supervised release when he is sentenced. The scheduling for the sentencing is set fro Dec 16th, 2010.
Released on a $15 million personal recognizance bond and under the plea deal Dickshit's travel is restricted to the European Union, India and New York.

Other founders are not likely to settle preferring to wait and anticipate a new administration re-opening in the United States to online gambling. Such is rumored for Russ De Leon and Ruth Parasol.
The fourth founder of the company Vikrant Bhargava intentions are still yet unknown.
In total Dikshit made close to US$900m when PartyGaming floated in 2005.In 2006 he sold US$120m of shares and received a dividend of US$64m during the period.
Ruth Parasol and Russ De Leon made about US$471m from the float and subsequent share sales and dividend, while the fourth co-founder Vikrant Bhargava made around US$354m from the same activities. The total amount to have gone to the founders after floatation, share sale and dividend was approximately US$1.7bn.
